Can I Run Jumps?

Released in 2025, Jumps is an action adventure game built by Keepsake Games. The game supports a single player campaign and cooperative play. Full controller support is present, so nothing needs configuring before a pad works. Steam lists support for 12 languages. As a new title, the figures below were written against parts you can still buy. It carries 15 achievements. Progress follows the account through Steam Cloud rather than sitting on one disk. Windows is the only supported platform, which is what the figures below describe. With more than 10 thousand player reviews on Steam, its behaviour on real hardware is well documented.

Setting and environment

Jumps places its action in space and the vessels that cross it, and the player works through runs that rebuild the layout each attempt. Because the game assembles its spaces as it goes, the cost lands on the CPU in bursts rather than steadily on the GPU. Play is presented from a first person view. 14 storefront images show what the game actually looks like in motion.

Why Jumps is demanding

The graphics demand in Jumps is at the top end. 8 GB VRAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060ti or better outscores our RTX 3060 reference, and a machine that clears Jumps comfortably will clear most other things. Jumps expects 16 GB of system memory. Jumps needs 64 bit Windows. Disk footprint is light, near 30 GB on an SSD. The distance between minimum and recommended is wide, so Jumps at the floor and Jumps at the recommended tier are not the same experience. The 8 GB VRAM figure quietly excludes a lot of 6 GB hardware that would otherwise cope.

This reading comes from the published requirements and our own benchmark tables, not from the store listing.

Can you run Jumps?

88%
Can run iton a typical modern PC (Ryzen 5 5600, RTX 3060, 16 GB RAM), the processor is the tightest fit.

Jumps is memory-hungry: it wants 16 GB of system RAM, above the 8 GB many machines still ship with. Graphically it is undemanding, 8 GB VRAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or better clears the minimum, so more RAM, not a new GPU, is the upgrade most players need.

Projected by resolution

ResolutionProjectionHeadroom
1080pBelow the bar0.83x
1440pBelow the bar0.47x
4KBelow the bar0.21x

A projection, not a measurement. We scale the published GPU requirement by pixel count, since 1440p draws 1.78 times the pixels of 1080p and 4K draws 4 times as many, then compare against RTX 3060 / Ryzen 5 build. The publisher did not state a target resolution, so 1080p is assumed as the baseline. We hold no frame rate data, so no FPS figure is claimed. Headroom above 1 means the reference machine has room to spare at that resolution.
