Can I Run Heatspire?

Runhead released Heatspire in 2026. It is an indie role playing game, self published by the studio. The game supports a single player campaign. Saves sync through Steam Cloud, so moving between machines does not cost progress. It handles controllers properly rather than leaving the player to bind buttons by hand. As a new title, the figures below were written against parts you can still buy. Builds exist for macOS as well as Windows. 5 languages are covered by the store listing. There are 14 achievements to chase.

Setting and environment

The game is set in a fantasy world. Play is structured around runs that rebuild the layout each attempt. Layouts generated at run time move the load onto the processor at the moment each new area is built. It is played from a top down view. The publisher supplies 8 storefront screenshots of these environments.

Why Heatspire is demanding

Heatspire barely touches the GPU. Its stated Intel HD 4600 / AMD Radeon R7 / NVIDIA GTX 750 target is below anything currently sold. Heatspire takes about 0 GB of disk space. System memory expectations are modest at 4 GB.

This reading comes from the published requirements and our own benchmark tables, not from the store listing.

Can you run Heatspire?

100%
Can run iton a typical modern PC (Ryzen 5 5600, RTX 3060, 16 GB RAM), the graphics card is the tightest fit.

Heatspire is light on hardware. Its minimum, Intel HD 4600 / AMD Radeon R7 / NVIDIA GTX 750, 4 GB RAM, about 0.15 GB free, sits below what an entry-level PC ships with today, so nearly any modern machine, and many older ones, will run it.

Bottleneck: GPU

Projected by resolution

ResolutionProjectionHeadroom
1080pComfortable6.54x
1440pComfortable3.68x
4KComfortable1.63x

A projection, not a measurement. We scale the published GPU requirement by pixel count, since 1440p draws 1.78 times the pixels of 1080p and 4K draws 4 times as many, then compare against RTX 3060 / Ryzen 5 build. The publisher did not state a target resolution, so 1080p is assumed as the baseline. We hold no frame rate data, so no FPS figure is claimed. Headroom above 1 means the reference machine has room to spare at that resolution.

Each card is compared against Heatspire's published GPU requirement, assuming an otherwise-capable PC. Laptop rows use the real mobile chip's benchmark, a mobile GPU is always slower than its desktop namesake.
