Can I Run Ghostwire: Tokyo?
Released in 2022, Ghostwire: Tokyo is an action game built by Tango Gameworks. Publishing duties went to Bethesda Softworks. It offers a single player campaign. Steam lists support for 14 languages. Its Steam review count passes 12 thousand, a large enough sample that odd hardware behaviour would be known by now. There are 66 achievements to chase. It is a Windows title, so the requirements below are the Windows ones. A gamepad works without remapping, since controller support is complete. Critics scored it 77 on Metacritic. Saves sync through Steam Cloud, so moving between machines does not cost progress.

Setting and environment
The game is set in a horror setting. Play is structured around one continuous open world. The publisher supplies 15 storefront screenshots of these environments. Open environments are the harder case for a PC, and Ghostwire: Tokyo has to keep far more of its world resident and streaming than a level based game needs. Play is presented from a first person view.
Why Ghostwire: Tokyo is demanding
Demand in Ghostwire: Tokyo is ordinary. The publisher has GTX1080 / RX5600XT / Arc A750* (VRAM in mind, which our tables place around the RTX 3060. Ghostwire: Tokyo calls for DirectX 12, which rules out otherwise capable hardware that never got the feature level. A 64 bit version of Windows is required. The install is small at roughly 26 GB, on an SSD. Minimum and recommended sit far apart here, which usually means Ghostwire: Tokyo scales hard with the hardware you give it. 16 GB of system memory is expected, the current mainstream figure.
This reading comes from the published requirements and our own benchmark tables, not from the store listing.
Can you run Ghostwire: Tokyo?
Older hardware holds up here: Ghostwire: Tokyo runs on modest graphics, with GTX1060 / RX5500XT / Arc A380* (VRAM 6GB or higher) enough to meet the minimum. Add 12 GB of RAM and a mid-range CPU and a PC several years old will play it fine.

Projected by resolution
| Resolution | Projection | Headroom |
|---|---|---|
| 1080p | Runs well | 1.26x |
| 1440p | Below the bar | 0.71x |
| 4K | Below the bar | 0.31x |
A projection, not a measurement. We scale the published GPU requirement by pixel count, since 1440p draws 1.78 times the pixels of 1080p and 4K draws 4 times as many, then compare against RTX 3060 / Ryzen 5 build. The publisher did not state a target resolution, so 1080p is assumed as the baseline. We hold no frame rate data, so no FPS figure is claimed. Headroom above 1 means the reference machine has room to spare at that resolution.

Each card is compared against Ghostwire: Tokyo's published GPU requirement, assuming an otherwise-capable PC. Laptop rows use the real mobile chip's benchmark, a mobile GPU is always slower than its desktop namesake.
