Can I Run Engram?
Engram is an adventure indie game from sitoka, released in 2026. Yet Another AI published it. The game supports a single player campaign. It is a recent release, so its requirements reflect current hardware rather than a previous generation. It is not Windows only, with macOS covered too. Saves sync through Steam Cloud, so moving between machines does not cost progress.

Setting and environment
Engram places its action in a science fiction setting, and the player works through spaces built for exploration. That openness is what costs performance. Engram has no loading walls to hide behind, so terrain and detail keep flowing in as the player moves. The publisher supplies 5 storefront screenshots of these environments. The view is through a point and click interface.
Why Engram is demanding
Engram sits in the middle of the demand range, targeting AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, a tier a mainstream card from the last few generations reaches without difficulty. The distance between minimum and recommended is wide, so Engram at the floor and Engram at the recommended tier are not the same experience. DirectX 12 is named, so Engram expects a graphics driver and card from the modern era rather than merely a fast one. Engram needs 64 bit Windows. Engram takes about 5 GB of disk space. At 32 GB, the RAM requirement is the one most likely to catch an otherwise capable PC out.
This reading comes from the published requirements and our own benchmark tables, not from the store listing.
Can you run Engram?
Engram is memory-hungry: it wants 16 GB of system RAM, above the 8 GB many machines still ship with. Graphically it is undemanding, AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT 4GB / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB clears the minimum, so more RAM, not a new GPU, is the upgrade most players need.
Bottleneck: RAM
Projected by resolution
| Resolution | Projection | Headroom |
|---|---|---|
| 1080p | Borderline | 1x |
| 1440p | Below the bar | 0.56x |
| 4K | Below the bar | 0.25x |
A projection, not a measurement. We scale the published GPU requirement by pixel count, since 1440p draws 1.78 times the pixels of 1080p and 4K draws 4 times as many, then compare against RTX 3060 / Ryzen 5 build. The publisher did not state a target resolution, so 1080p is assumed as the baseline. We hold no frame rate data, so no FPS figure is claimed. Headroom above 1 means the reference machine has room to spare at that resolution.

Each card is compared against Engram's published GPU requirement, assuming an otherwise-capable PC. Laptop rows use the real mobile chip's benchmark, a mobile GPU is always slower than its desktop namesake.
