Can I Run Eclipse?
Released in 2025, Eclipse is an adventure casual game built by Black Rabbit's Tales. It offers a single player campaign. Full controller support is present, so nothing needs configuring before a pad works. 6 languages are covered by the store listing. It is a Windows title, so the requirements below are the Windows ones. It is a recent release, so its requirements reflect current hardware rather than a previous generation. Its 714 Steam reviews make it a niche release rather than a widely tested one.

Setting and environment
Eclipse places its action in a horror setting, and the player works through spaces built for exploration. Open environments are the harder case for a PC, and Eclipse has to keep far more of its world resident and streaming than a level based game needs. Play is presented from a third person view. The publisher supplies 14 storefront screenshots of these environments.
Why Eclipse is demanding
The graphics requirement for Eclipse is light. Hardware around NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon RX 580 ( is enough, so Eclipse runs on machines never bought for gaming. Eclipse takes about 2 GB of disk space. Eclipse needs only 4 GB of RAM. The 8 GB VRAM figure quietly excludes a lot of 6 GB hardware that would otherwise cope. Eclipse calls for DirectX 12, which rules out otherwise capable hardware that never got the feature level. Eclipse needs 64 bit Windows.
This reading comes from the published requirements and our own benchmark tables, not from the store listing.
Can you run Eclipse?
Older hardware holds up here: Eclipse runs on modest graphics, with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB VRAM) enough to meet the minimum. Add 4 GB of RAM and a mid-range CPU and a PC several years old will play it fine.
Bottleneck: GPU
Projected by resolution
| Resolution | Projection | Headroom |
|---|---|---|
| 1080p | Comfortable | 1.89x |
| 1440p | Borderline | 1.06x |
| 4K | Below the bar | 0.47x |
A projection, not a measurement. We scale the published GPU requirement by pixel count, since 1440p draws 1.78 times the pixels of 1080p and 4K draws 4 times as many, then compare against RTX 3060 / Ryzen 5 build. The publisher did not state a target resolution, so 1080p is assumed as the baseline. We hold no frame rate data, so no FPS figure is claimed. Headroom above 1 means the reference machine has room to spare at that resolution.

Each card is compared against Eclipse's published GPU requirement, assuming an otherwise-capable PC. Laptop rows use the real mobile chip's benchmark, a mobile GPU is always slower than its desktop namesake.
