Can I Run Atrius Star?
Released in 2021, Atrius Star is an action indie game built by Atomic Lollypop. The game supports a single player campaign. Being 5 years old, it was built for the hardware of its day, so a current machine usually has headroom over the published figures. It is free to play at the base tier. A pad covers most of the game, though parts of it still expect a keyboard. Windows is the only supported platform, which is what the figures below describe.

Setting and environment
Atrius Star places its action in a deliberately retro presentation, and the player works through runs that rebuild the layout each attempt. Because the game assembles its spaces as it goes, the cost lands on the CPU in bursts rather than steadily on the GPU. Play is presented from a top down view. The publisher supplies 14 storefront screenshots of these environments.
Why Atrius Star is demanding
The ask Atrius Star makes is moderate. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 lands near our RTX 3060 reference, so a typical gaming PC is the right yardstick. At 8 GB, system memory is undemanding. Disk footprint is light, near 0 GB. Minimum and recommended sit far apart here, which usually means Atrius Star scales hard with the hardware you give it. Atrius Star needs 64 bit Windows.
This reading comes from the published requirements and our own benchmark tables, not from the store listing.
Can you run Atrius Star?
Older hardware holds up here: Atrius Star runs on modest graphics, with GeForce GTX 970 (AMD Radeon R9 290) or better enough to meet the minimum. Add 2 GB of RAM and a mid-range CPU and a PC several years old will play it fine.
Bottleneck: GPU
Projected by resolution
| Resolution | Projection | Headroom |
|---|---|---|
| 1080p | Runs well | 1.31x |
| 1440p | Below the bar | 0.74x |
| 4K | Below the bar | 0.33x |
A projection, not a measurement. We scale the published GPU requirement by pixel count, since 1440p draws 1.78 times the pixels of 1080p and 4K draws 4 times as many, then compare against RTX 3060 / Ryzen 5 build. The publisher did not state a target resolution, so 1080p is assumed as the baseline. We hold no frame rate data, so no FPS figure is claimed. Headroom above 1 means the reference machine has room to spare at that resolution.

Each card is compared against Atrius Star's published GPU requirement, assuming an otherwise-capable PC. Laptop rows use the real mobile chip's benchmark, a mobile GPU is always slower than its desktop namesake.
